Avery Mary

It is funny how quickly they change from not wanting anything to do with taking a picture, (2 year old), to being the cheesiest kid in the house! Avery actually wants me to take pics of her and she loves seeing herself on my blog. "That me!!!!" We went for a walk last night but that just ended in Avery wanting to be carried. Pulling the wagon and holding my camera and her, I got a great work out in! Delaney had a sleep over at Emma's house for the first time last night. It is so weird waking up and not seeing her sleepy face!

She found her sheep!

How sweet is she! Delaney got to go to school dressed up as her favorite nursery rhyme character. So she went as Miss Bo Peep! She was walking her sheep, Avery down the side walk this morning!

On another note, we had a wonderful brownie troop meeting last night and got our troop number. Our service leader walked us through so many different things that our heads were spinning. So we will begin meeting shortly! If you have any great ideas pass them this way!

War wounds!!

The girls had some serious issues after the 3 days of tennis! ICE ICE BABY!! Nice after shot huh!

Kayla won all 8 of her matches!

You can imagine how proud we were of her! She played so well and had nerves of steel! Her first couple matches were doubles with the other freshman on the team. You can see Gabby with Kayla after they won their very first match together. I had tears in my eyes because you could tell how happy Kayla was!

The week-end was a ton of fun. I went to a photography convention. It is an always changing field! It is fun to meet other photographers and see what they are doing. As I was leaving the convention, I see three guys walking across the street. Low and behold one of them was a fraternity brother of Greg's who lives in South Carolina, Mike Butcher! That was so random! Greg was picking me up so he ran up and surprised Greg. So Greg got to go watch the Purdue game with another alumni! That is always fun! Even though they lost in double over time!

The girls loved seeing their cousins and swimming in the indoor pool all week-end.  Everyone did really well on the trip even on the eight hour ride home! The only bad part was paying $4.59 for gas! YIKES! Luckily when we got home ours was only $3.99! Still, not great! I put this in bold just for you Maria and your "old eyes"!  HA!

Zoo Day

The girls had a day off of school. So we decided to go to the zoo! We get in for free with our MOSI pass. It was so much fun! They loved the water park. It was a very hot day so it was perfect after seeing some of the zoo to cool off. Several friends came and joined in the madness... I mean fun. We missed seeing the African animals because it was time to go get the big girls off the bus. We will definitely have to go back with the big girls. And go to the Aquarium too. They are both free in September!

We work well together!

I know this will drive Nellie crazy but I don't know how to rotate it! I already rotated it on iphoto?! Anyway, what do you think? Big difference on the drive way huh!. And I love that the nook is both Greg and I did it together and created something so beautiful. And that they are pictures from our travels and not just some picture I picked up. It is truly ours.

The drive is supposed to dry for 6 hours, 72 to drive on it. Well, 2 Winkler kids wanted to go see what daddy painted and went out on it 30 minutes later! Luckily the FL sun had already dried it!

We are having back wards dinner, cupcakes and pasta, wanna come over for dinner? HA! Thanks to Abbie the girls now love penna past and parmesan cheese. GO colts! What to watch? Colts or the special about Palin? LOVE HER! What an inspiration for me and my girls!

Everyday life is so busy!

We have been on the go so much lately! We have had quite a few pool play dates, thank you Danielle and Kim! It is so nice when you don't have a pool for others to have you come over to enjoy theirs. Avery loves swimming especially. It is one thing that will keep her occupied for more than a few minutes! She keeps us on our toes! One day to get a break from all the kids, when they were in school Greg took the day off and just the 2 of us went to Bush Gardens. We had so much fun. We rode all the different roller coasters and then went to the hospitality tent. Free beer is always so yummy on a hot Florida day! We went and picked up the girls from Pre school and went to an Indian Buffet for a late lunch. I LOVE Indian food! What a great way to spend some time together.

The paver driveway was starting to look a little ichy so last week we started to power wash it. That also lead to power washing the back lanai also. And all the furniture! This week Greg would more and more sand down. Then this morning I hosed all the sand off of the top so it would only be in the grooves. After about an hour Greg then rolled on the sealer. It looks so nice. Our drive way looks so pretty! He is going to put on the extra coat just to make sure it is sealed. We have it all clean might as well out down another coat.

Delaney had her very first sleep over last night! We had friends over for a bbq. We had a wonderful dinner and had fireworks for the kids. They had a great time and then went back to their house to go to sleeep. She woke up bright and early and announced to my friend Christie that that was the best first sleep over ever! Ella stayed the night with them too! I think tonight will be a very early bed time for them. The are both now sacked out on the bean bags watching cartoons, not moving. At least Greg and I will be able to watch the Colts!

I finally order and got in the pictures to finish the nook! They turned out so good! I ordered them in a pearlized paper. They look so real!  I am so happy with that room.

We are leaving for Athens, GA on Thursday to watch me niece play in her first tennis tournament. We are excited for a little trip. It will be fun to enjoy some time with the girls with out having to run them here and there to all of their activites.

I am off to go finish the laundry, picking up the house, making dinner, putting Avery's seat back together, making tomorrow's lunches and getting the kids a bath. We have to be ready for 8 o'clock kick off!
